Hello friends! 👋This is going to be a long post, so set aside a couple of minutes... Today we want to share with you a little more about what's been happening with the band over the last four years. In a way, we believe we owe you.After the tour promoting Waves & Particles at the end of 2022, it was difficult for us to find a stable lineup to write new songs and get back on stage. Some wonderful people joined us for many months, but the chemistry just wasn't there at the moment and it was difficult for the band to advance.At the same time, the music scene after the pandemic aftermath was still changing (for worse), and we couldn't quite find our place in it. We felt somewhat lost and disillusioned while we were not able to create new material that truly satisfied us.💔 Then, with a sad feeling but with honesty, we decided to take an indefinite break, not knowing if it would be forever or not. Not knowing if Audiolepsia would ever return, or in what form.This limbo continued until the spring of 2024, when we (Ángel and Jordi, who have always been the core of the band), got together again with some ideas in mind. We were thinking about finishing up the rough drafts of a couple of songs we'd composed a long time ago and share them. Maybe doing a cover or two would be fun, or better yet, giving a facelift to an old track that we felt deserved it.🔥 So, we plugged in the guitars, the bass, the old computer… and a new spark was there. That's how, silently, without pressure, slowly (because life keeps hitting us hard), Audiolepsia came back to life.And now, here we are! We've already shared Anémona Redux with you and we are incredibly grateful for all the positive reactions. Now we are happy to tell you that something bigger is on the way. 👁️✨We hope to find you on our side, ready to listen, feel the energy, enjoy, and share. Hoy queremos compartir con vosotros un poco más de lo que ha estado pasando con la banda durante los últimos cuatro años. En cierto modo, sentimos que os lo debemos.Tras la gira de presentación de Waves & Particles a finales de 2022, nos resultó difícil encontrar una formación estable para escribir canciones nuevas y volver a los escenarios. Algunas personas maravillosas se unieron a nosotros durante muchos meses, pero la química simplemente no estaba ahí en ese momento y se hacía difícil para la banda avanzar.Al mismo tiempo, la escena musical tras las secuelas de la pandemia seguía cambiando (a peor), y no terminábamos de encontrar nuestro lugar en ella. Nos sentíamos un tanto perdidos y desilusionados al ver que no éramos capaces de crear material nuevo que realmente nos satisficiera.💔 Entonces, con un sentimiento de tristeza pero con total honestidad, decidimos tomarnos un descanso indefinido, sin saber si sería para siempre o no. Sin saber si Audiolepsia regresaría alguna vez, o de qué forma lo haría.Este limbo continuó hasta la primavera de 2024, cuando nosotros (Ángel y Jordi, que siempre hemos sido el núcleo de la banda), nos volvimos a reunir con algunas ideas en mente. Pensábamos en terminar los borradores de un par de canciones que teníamos compuestas desde hacía mucho tiempo y compartirlas. Tal vez hacer una versión o dos sería divertido, o mejor aún, darle un lavado de cara a un tema antiguo que sentíamos que lo merecía.🔥 Así que volvimos a enchufar las guitarras, el bajo, el viejo ordenador… y surgió una nueva chispa. Así fue como, en silencio, sin presiones, lentamente (porque la vida nos sigue golpeando duro), Audiolepsia volvió a la vida.¡Y ahora, aquí estamos! Ya hemos compartido Anémona Redux con vosotros y estamos increíblemente agradecidos por todas las reacciones tan positivas. Hi there! Long time no see...It’s been over three years since our last concert. A lot has happened to the band during this time, and we even had our doubts about the future of the project. Fortunately, everything is much clearer now, and we’ll be sharing more details with you very soon.We’d like to think we’re a bit older and wiser now.
